Activities & Events

We have a variety of regular events, such as board meetings the 2nd Thursday of the every month at 7pm and bird walks every first Saturday of the month, as well as other events that occur on a more seasonal basis, like stream cleanups and fly tying classes. View a calendar of these events below.

Upcoming Events:

Fly Tying Classes: The Big Spring Watershed Association is offering our fly tying classes again this winter. Classes would be held in person at 6:30 pm beginning Tuesday, 31 January February through Tuesday, 28 February. Masks will be optional.
We will meet at the First United Presbyterian Church in Newville. Park in the main parking lot by the church and the community room is off the main entrance to the church. Fly Tyers of all skill levels are welcome. BSWA will provide materials. Please contact Linda Watson at fishmorekane@gmail.com for more information
